Honor Guard Official Announcement

I have some good news about the Honor Guard. We will be turning from a dictatorship to a commitee!

I had been giving this alot of thought, and I have decided to step down as soul leader of the HG. I never found it fair that I was the only decision maker, and sometimes when I wasn't available it was dificult for other members to put together things at the last minute.

With switching to a commitee, we remove the neccessity for one person to make decisions.

How I would like it to work:

First thing is that when planning for an event is announced. The HG will hold a large meeting.

Of the members who show, we will determine who has the time and willingness to be Chair Person of the commitee for that event. THat person will be in charge of giving out tasks, and communicating with those who are planning the rest of the event (if neccessary).

As it is a commitee, everyone's words count. Any disagreements can be settled with a vote silent or not. I want to keep this as open and versatile so I will not dole out any rules or guidlines. Every commitee will be set up to conform to the event that arises.

I would like to hold the first Honor Guard Commitee meeting next Saturday. If this conflicts with any members schedules, please contact me. Once I am sure it is a good time for it, I'll make an official announcement.
